Konstellation is launched!
Delighted by a hugely successful launch concert of Konstellation last night, generously hosted by Bob and Elisabeth Boas. Schubert songs by Aoife Miskelly and Brahms songs by Anna Huntley were offset against the Brahms clarinet trio (with John Slack and Cara Berridge) – and the voices and instruments were joined together in Schubert's Der Hirt auf dem Felsen and Brahms' Op 91 songs. A packed, enthusiastic and buzzing audience generously supported this opening concert, and mingled extensively over drinks afterwards. Konstellation is all about the combining of song and chamber music in recital. Here's to many more programmes to follow!
