Join Into Opera and some of the UK’s finest singers at the Assembly House Norwich for an evening of music, conversation, canapés and bubbly – the perfect way to enjoy an evening in the run up to Christmas with friends and loved ones.
This concert is taking place to raise money for ‘A King’s Ransom’ the children’s opera and education project, which Into Opera are running in Norfolk primary schools. Their project champions the importance of all children having access to the arts and a creative education. It culminates in the professional world premiere of a new opera written for children to sing by one of the UK’s most inspirational classical composers, Patrick Hawes in February 2018 at OPEN Norwich. Audiences attending Opera Unwrapped for Christmas will be the first to hear a preview of this opera, which will be introduced on the night, by the composer.
Doors open at 6.30pm. A complimentary glass of prosecco and canapés will be offered on arrival.
